The Organization

PRINCESS WARRIORS is a small, but growing organization that taps into girls' imaginations and fosters empowering ways for girls to understand their emerging selves, form positive relationships and realize their power to help the world. Through carefully crafted programs, girls ages 6 to 11 learn to have a strong voice, stand up for themselves and others with kindness, and develop social and emotional skills in a supportive community. Core programs operate in Rockland County, and curricula, online training, and support is now available for women to facilitate Princess Warriors Circles in other locations. 


The Position

Reporting to the Founder/Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist understands the Princess Warriors brand, vision and values well and knows how to communicate our story in effective and creative ways. S/he creates and carries out a digital marketing strategy with the goal of promoting the Princess Warriors brand, increasing subscribers, curricula and material sales.

The position requires good collaboration with the Director and the knowledge and skills to integrate a variety of digital marketing tools into a cohesive strategy to achieve clearly defined, observable results.

This is a part-time, contractual position with 4 to 16 hours per month, depending on the mutually agreed upon marketing plan. This opportunity is ideal for a solution-oriented professional looking to supplement their income, while supporting an uplifting and valuable social mission. Remote work possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the strengths and marketing needs of the organization, including program offerings, values, existing and potential customer base, website, email, and social media presence, along with goals as identified collaboratively with the Director.

  • Conduct research and analyze data to identify and define audiences.

  • Create an integrated digital marketing strategy, with clearly identified goals and timelines, incorporating existing Wix website, email campaigns, social media, and any other tools identified.

  • Implement strategy according to the agreed upon timeline.

  • Monitor performance and pro-actively communicate progress and/or challenges with the Director through weekly status update emails and/or calls.

  • Revise strategies as needed.



  • At least 2 years experience with professional marketing (with references)

  • Broad technical knowledge in related areas.

  • Creative and strategic with digital branding and content

  • Self-motivated
